This Privacy Policy describes how AlertEdge ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you subscribe to our alert service.

We do NOT collect: email address, financial information, trading history, or device identifiers beyond what is listed above.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Delivering WhatsApp and/or SMS alerts you subscribed to
• Sending a one-time confirmation message when you subscribe
• Processing unsubscribe requests (STOP reply)
• Maintaining a consent record as required by TRAI regulations

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party processors to deliver alerts:

• Twilio / WhatsApp Business API — message delivery (data processed in their infrastructure per their privacy policy)
• Render / Railway — backend hosting (your data is stored on Indian or EU servers)

We have data processing agreements in place with these providers and do not authorise them to use your data for their own purposes.

4. Data Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS
• Phone numbers are stored encrypted at rest
• Admin dashboard is protected by Google OAuth 2.0 — only the registered owner email can access subscriber data
• No passwords are stored; authentication is handled by Google

5. Your Rights (PDPB 2023 / IT Act)

• Access: Request a copy of your data by emailing us
• Correction: Update your number or preferences by contacting us
• Deletion: Reply STOP to any alert, or email us — we delete within 7 days
• Portability: Request your data in CSV format

6. TRAI DND Compliance

AlertEdge operates as a transactional/service message sender under TRAI guidelines. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to any message. Unsubscription is processed within 24 hours.

7. Children's Privacy

This service is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via WhatsApp/SMS to active subscribers at least 7 days before taking effect.
